We all have a backcountry trail or a spot in the wilderness we love; a place that holds memories of a trek that fed our souls and tested our resolve. Want your favorite trail sign hanging above your fireplace? Send us a picture, and we'll make you a replica.
Or, select one of our pre-made or made-to-order standard items, featuring signs from around the White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire, and other beautiful places in the Northeast.
I am a hiker, signmaker, writer, musician, and lover of the mountains. I worked in the sign industry for ten years before quitting my job and setting out to thruhike the Appalachian Trail. I spent almost five months in 2013 traveling south from Katahdin, covering 1830 miles before getting injured in Tennessee. After recovering, I got back on the Trail in April 2014 and reached Springer Mountain on May 15, 11 months after I climbed Katahdin. I started Trailsigns to dovetail my enjoyment of signmaking with my love of the outdoors, hiking, and specifically the AT, to which I now have an unbreakable spiritual bond.
