More about Jennifer:

I have always had a love for nature, ever since as far back as I can remember.

I started “hiking” and adventuring in grade school, in the large expanse of woods, creeks, and farmlands behind my grandparents home .
I would spend hours finding all sorts of animals and plants. I loved climbing on everything and playing in the water.

My first two children were born in the 90s and I did my best to instill in them a love of nature and a respect for the Earth. When they were little we lived with a 761 acre park right in our backyard. We would spend all day in the forest and hiking out and back in the creek at the bottom of the gorge there. On the weekends we would hike at other local parks or travel to the Natural Bridge State Resort Park in KY.

We are now a combined family with 12 kids. In the last 28 years I have traveled to 2 countries and all but 8 states. We can’t wait to explore more and revisit some. I have frequently been hiking with a child on my front and/or back. I enjoy hiking with my family and the Tri-State Hiking and Events Group, caving with the Louisville Grotto, and have many other hobbies and diy interests.
