I discovered hammocks back in 2011 when I was planning for my 2012 thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. My first hammock I ever owned was the Clark North American. I currently own 11 hammocks from different cottage vendors, and love each one of them. A few years ago, in 2020 I became one of the organizers of HangCon, which is the largest annual hammock gathering event in the country.
