Section Hiker Larry Haines or Lone Wolf shares with us his 2022 hiking plans out on the Continental Divide Trail this summer!
Jester has a great chat with Larry Haines, her next member of "Jester's Class of 2022 Section Hikers". Larry or Lone Wolf has completed the Colorado Trail and has plans this summer to section hike out on the Continental Divide Trail. His overall goal over the next few summers is to complete the CDT in the State of Colorado and then when he retires in 2025, complete the rest of the CDT! Larry lives in Steamboat Springs, CO, and loves helping hikers with logistics and shuttles.

Father, grandfather, & husband
In 2021 Larry, trail name Lone Wolf, hiked the 485-mile Colorado Trail over a bunch of weekend section hikes then a 300-mile stretch over 3 weeks. The Continental Divide Trail and Colorado Trail share about 315 miles, and Larry is hiking the rest of the CDT in Colorado over the next three summers. Then in 2025 he hopes to do a LASH hike through the rest of the CDT states. Larry lives in Steamboat Springs, CO, which is a CDT trail town, and is happy to help with shuttling or other logistics if you're passing through on the CDT.
