Jester chats this week with Triple Crown Section Hiker Mary Davison. Mary shares with us about hiking at age 60 and completing the AT, PCT, and CDT by the time she turned 76.

If you have been into Long Distance hiking for any amount of time you have probably heard of a Triple Crown hiker. This means that a hiker has completed the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, and the Continental Divide Trail. Jester's guest today, Mary Davison, has completed the Triple Crown as a Section Hiker. The unique aspect about this for Mary is the fact that she started the quest to do so at the age of 60 and finished at the age of 76.

Mary has written a book about her Triple Crown titled, "Old Lady on the Trail - Triple Crown at 76." She has also written and released a second book titled, "Aren't You Afraid?" about her section hiking on the American Discovery Trail. As you will hear, Mary is an inspiration and continues to hike and has plans to be out on the trails again very soon!
