Deborah Webb - Retired from Verizon and involved with GATC for the past five years as a volunteer for Activities Committee, Hike Leader, and Trail Ambassador. I accepted the position of Activities Director in 2022 and am currently on the board of directors for GATC.

Cathie, Ashley, and I are working together to try to encourage more women to join GATC and enjoy our hikes. Our past hikes have been longer distances and more strenuous, so we are hoping to schedule shorter hikes that will encourage new members to join us.

Cathie Neel - Retired software business owner and have been involved with GATC for the last five years as a trail maintainer and the last three as a Trail Ambassador. I am currently on the board of directors for GATC for my second term as Information and Education director. I am a Leave No Trace Trainer and am certified in CPR/Wilderness First Aid.

I love backpacking and hiking and hope to encourage more women to get out and explore trails!

Ashley Luke - Ashley Luke is the coordinator for the GATC’s Trail Ambassador Program, maintains a section of the AT on Blood Mountain and recently joined the ATC’s Stewardship Council. As a Leave No Trace Master Educator, she is passionate about sustainability in the wilderness. The Trail Ambassadors dedicate many hours assisting and educating hikers and keeping the trail, shelters and camping areas in good condition, particularly during the annual thru hiker bubble.
