Lately I've been stuck in one traffic jam after another and I've thoroughly enjoyed getting lost in the podcast to distract me. I'm dreaming of section hiking this summer and the stories Mighty Blue shares with fellow hikers on this podcast make me want to drop everything and HIKE! Keep them coming!

Great format
Steve uses an interesting format to recount his 2200 mile adventure, while also keeping the podcast entertaining. He interviews both past and current through hikers, giving the listener many different perspectives on the AT Trail. Clear and distinct delivery (nice radio voice) coupled with refreshing frankness add to the 5 star rating.

Inspiring and fun!
I stumbled across Mighty Blue's podcast about his 2014 through hike a few days ago and can't stop listening! He's a great storyteller and writer with loads of interesting guests. I love the variety of personalities that he has on for his guests and the audiobook excerpts at the end keep me coming back for more! Thanks so much Mighty Blue, from a hopeful 51 year old class of 2018 hopeful.

Candid, enlightening, entertaining.
I've been listening since episode #1 and it's only getting better! Steve manages to deliver these wonderfully crafted discussions and book chapters with an incredibly candid and self-effacing style that make it easy to listen to and even supremely relatable. If you're looking for an AT pidcast filled with detailed equipment facts and reviews, you'll have to look elswhere. But if you're looking to partake in the human experience on the AT, and other long trails, Steve and his guests will deliver in spades!

Steve Adams has a Natural Gift!
Enjoyed listening to today's podcast, Episode 10 - Gary Sizer (Green Giant). Come to think about it, I've equally enjoyed the previous episodes as well. You're a natural at this outdoor niche, offering excellent knowledge, with top quality, as a way of reaching out to others who share the same interest. I suspect that those who may pursue the same interest will find your offerings to be one of the best starting points. I'll pray that this will continue to grow in a rewarding direction.

Learning a lot!
I just listen to the Max Mishkin episode. I learned a lot about his ultralight approach to backpacking. I enjoyed his insights as well as yours concerning hiking the Appalachian Trail. Well done!

enjoying learning about the trail
I am loving hearing about your adventure and meeting your trail friends . I especailly like learning about the trail and the process of hiking that far. Great podcast! I learned about it from the Horse Radio Network. You have a marvelous reading voice too. I am hooked!

Outstanding Podcast!!
This is an excellent podcast that will appeal to anyone that enjoys hiking, camping, being outdoors, or just appreciates a well told story. In this podcast listeners will enjoy a story about one man's journey on the AT and the people he met, the interviews provide great insight on hiking the trail and the chapter readings from his book are very entertaining and informative.

Mighty well done
I really appreciate how Mighty Blue is handling this podcast. He's very smart to intersperse his own clever, genuine and well-written AT adventures with interviews of other hikers. The effect is equal doses of English charm and dry wit and a wide sampling of AT experiences, making for a fun listen in each of the five episodes released so far.
If you are an AT hiker and missing the trail, someone who has pondered making this mighty, crazy trek, or just someone who appreciates good storytelling and fun, "Mighty Blue on the Appalachian Trail" is well worth your time (as is MB's book).

Wonderful theme music!
As someone who has an interest in hiking the AT after I retire in 15 years, it's great to hear about the AT from someone who is not a person in their 20's. Keep up the great work.

Fantastic Show!
Thanks for having me on the show Mighty Blue! It was so great to catch up with you! This show is a riot of laughter, very enjoyable, and filled with great information to anyone who's thinking about long distance hiking. I can't wait for more episodes to come and to hear more chapters of the book!
